Daiwa Tatula CT Type-R Casting ReelDWTACTR100H
The Daiwa Tatula CT Type-R fishing reel has been re-designed with new features.
Daiwa's T-wing System solves an age old problem with bait casting reel level wind systems. The "T" aperture allows line to flow freely through the wide top section when casting, reducing sharp angles and friction that slows line through a narrow aperture. When retrieving, the line drops into the narrow portion of the T-wing for even distribution into the spool.
The ideal material for lightweight fishing reels. Lightweight strength and resistance to flexing rival that of magnesium and will not corrode.
Corrosion Resistant Ball Bearings
Last up to 12 times longer than standard stainless steel ball bearings.
The spool starts faster and spins longer. As you start a cast, the spool's inductor cup retracts from the magnet so the spool spins freely. As the spool approaches maximum speed, the inductor cup moves into the gap between the magnets for smooth, magnetic braking. As spool begins to slow, the inductor cup retracts from the magnets again to let the spool spin longer.
UT Drag (Ultimate Tournament Carbon Drag)
Oversized carbon drag washers allow maximum fish stopping power.
Daiwa's exclusive swept handle moves the paddles closer to the rod's center line. The result is less wobble of the reel in your hand. This means less wasted energy and a more powerful retrieve.
Compact Body Frame
Compact Body with coating that is standard across Daiwa's high end fishing reel models.
